Below are QGIS QML stylesheets for OS OpenData Meridian 2 layers. Ordnance Survey data has been available for a while for download as OS OpenData. Also provided are SLDs for ESRI. However these SLDs do not import correctly into QGIS.
For the Strategi layer set, for scales of 1:100,000 to 1:175,000, Lutra Consulting have created the QML styles and made them available for download. The Meridian 2 layer set are used for scales of approximately 1:25,000 to 1:100,000. The SLDs also do not load correctly – even when upgrading QGIS from 1.7 to 2.2 – so I have recreated them (subject to a few QGIS labelling limitations) as QML files.

Visual improvement
I have enabled symbol levels on the roads which should, in general, improve the output quality near intersections. All attachments have been updated as appropriate.
